GG2: Lineage

Lineage is a modern sans-serif-font based on the extinct Futhark rune alphabet. In the Design Basics 2 class, students had to design the font, a promotional poster and a leaflet in the style of the ones released by typesetting companies. I took the the very narrow and fragile runes and made them rounded, bold, confident and sleek.
